The Quiet Hustle

I made the decision to finish my degree. I thought long and hard about it. My major is Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I’m pretty excited about it. But it is something I wish I had done earlier.

When I graduated high school, I just wanted to be a writer. Going to college to study something like Law or Business didn’t appeal to me. I have done many jobs over the years. I’ve worked in retail, then four years as a caregiver to an elderly woman with dementia. After that job came to end, I went back into retail and customer service and from there warehousing and now manufacturing. So, it has been quite a journey.

I have been wanting to find a way to work for myself one day and on my own terms. I still aspire to be a writer. I started this blog as part of that dream. I mentioned in a previous post that I am planning and writing a novel. My current job is ok for now but, I don’t want to work in manufacturing forever. It’s time to start doing better, and I’m ready for something new.
