I am reading The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie, a British author. It was his published in 2006, and I like it so far. I’m still at the beginning but the story and characters are interesting.
I am trying to read more, after all writers are readers. I will admit I am a bit of a slacker though. I have read a few other books this year. Gothikana by RuNyx. I thought it was pretty good. A lot of YouTubers that read this book said they hated it. That’s ok, but as I was reading it, I wondered what they were complaining about. There are some issues, but no book is perfect.
I also read One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig earlier this year. I enjoyed those books as well.
